Music in Schools

For my presentation I will be doing a Power Point on the importance of music education in schools. I will break it down into sections about the history of music education. I would like to show the audience what music education can do for the individuals participating in it and how it affects people when they listen to the music that is being played. I hope to do this by showing examples of improvements, scientific studies, personal stories and by using personal interviews, using quotes, videos, and diagrams. This presentation will show why we need music education in all school systems, the positive effects it has on the community, the misconceptions about it, and how the audience can help save it in the schools in their community.
