Crash Course in Consulting: An Analysis of the Electrical Contracting Industry

This presentation is the culmination of an internship in a consulting practice to gain real-world experience using tools learned in my senior capstone class. This internship had me tasked with researching the electrical contracting industry and our client’s competitors. Using a situational analysis and competitor analysis, we were able to identify trends in the electrical contracting industry and areas where our client’s competitors were exceeding the client. From this research, areas of opportunities were determined and will be presented to the client for them to review. I will be presenting key information gathered through our research and the next steps suggested to our client.
