Abstract

The president of COD, an airplane and dental hygiene … what do they have in common? Well, they’re all part of College of DuPage – and each one represents something terrific that happened here last year. So before we leap into 2003, let’s take one more look at the year that was – 2002.

How would you like to design and build an architectural model?

Or program a computer to control Lego robots?

Participants from kindergarten age to high school can find something just for them in Youth Education at College of DuPage. Classes run the gamut from math, science and computers to art, reading and foreign languages and expert instructors make learning truly fun.

When the days are gray and the nights are long, wouldn’t it be nice to spend a romantic evening at WDCB’s Winter Gala Dance and Fundraiser? Swing to the big band sounds of the John Burnett Orchestra in the big room or mingle with Bruce Oscar at the Piano in the lobby. Have dinner with us, buy a raffle ticket – or two – and most of all – have a good time!

Don’t you just love a good mystery? Then this is for you! It’s the “Love is Murder Readers’ and Writers’ Mystery, Suspense and Thriller Conference!” The shenanigans begin Friday, February 7th and climax on Sunday, February 9th in beautiful Itasca, Illinois.
