COD’s Automotive Service Technology program ratchets up the efforts to go green – offering a course on hybrid and alternative fuel vehicles. Driven by industry demand, Hybrid Technology continues the college’s tradition of preparing students to enter or continue in the workforce with cutting edge skills. Through a combination of hands-on learning and lecture, students will gain the marketable experience to keep their careers in high gear.

College of DuPage men’s and women’s tennis coach, Jim Bowers, is a real ace. He was recently named National Coach of the Year for 2009 by the Wilson/Intercollegiate Tennis Association. Under Jim’s leadership, numerous tennis teams have clinched state, conference, regional and national titles. Champions on and off the court, his players also enjoy academic success. Images congratulates Jim Bowers on his achievement and is proud to have him mentoring athletes and leading Chaparral tennis to victory.
