Fall semester is under way and the halls and classrooms are bristling with excitement. Especially in the Health and Science Center - a state-of-the-art training ground, housing laboratory, classroom, office and instructional space for COD’s Health Science and Natural Science programs. … check in on the effort to build cost and energy efficient homes with Habitat for Humanity…

DuPage Habitat for Humanity, ComEd and College of DuPage have teamed up to make home ownership a reality for working families while saving money and energy. Architecture and construction students enrolled in an innovative new COD class called “Sustainable Design Initiative” work with industry professionals in building eleven new homes in West Chicago. Ground was broken in July at Pioneer Prairie, the charter neighborhood in Habitat’s green initiative. Images drops by the site for a progress update on the project.

COD is proud to have another new building up and running this fall. The Technology Education Center on west campus is a state-of-the-art structure, housing COD’s technology programs such as automotive, manufacturing, horticulture and many more.
