College of DuPage opened its doors in 1967 to 2,621 students. Since then COD has grown to serve nearly 30,000 students each year. A lot has changed in forty years. But one thing that hasn’t is the excitement of COD’s graduates as they embark on the next journeys of their promising futures. Join us in congratulating the 40th group of students to be recognized for their achievements at the annual commencement ceremony - the class of 2007.

College of DuPage is a frontier of limitless options for personal growth. COD offers a rich and diverse environment with opportunities for learning under the direction of an outstanding faculty, and a wealth of extracurricular and social activities – all at an affordable price. When the possibilities are endless, your college experience is what you make it. Images! gives you a glimpse of why COD is a smart move for so many students.

Making decisions about where to pursue your higher education is extremely important, and each year College of DuPage helps college bound students by hosting a college fair. Representatives from over two hundred colleges and universities will be on hand to meet with prospective students and distribute information about their institutions. COD is pleased to assist students in this significant first step in their college careers. This year’s fair will be held on September 19th, and admission is free. College of DuPage is also a proud participant in the college fair and we invite you to check us out and see what we have to offer you.

Each year College of DuPage recognizes one educator who stands above the rest as its overall Outstanding Faculty Member. For the 2006-2007 academic year, this honor is awarded to Professor of History and Chinese Language, Jane Wu. Jane was also named the Outstanding Faculty Member by the Illinois Community College Trustees Association. This is the first time a C.O.D. professor has earned that prestigious statewide distinction. IMAGES! would like to congratulate Jane Wu – not only for receiving multiple awards, but also for the commitment to learning that has earned her the respect and made her such a valuable member of the college. Jane is just one of many high-quality educators inspiring College of DuPage students.
