Abstract

…we’ll meet the person charged with bringing quality programming to the MAC…

…sip fine wine and enjoy a six course meal prepared and served by professional chefs…

…and we’ll show you how easy it is to register for Fall Semester at College of DuPage….

College of DuPage’s McAninch Arts Center presents all of the arts under one roof. For two decades community members have been entertained and inspired by the MAC’s offerings which include resident theater companies, music and dance performances, visual art exhibits and a non-stop schedule of visiting artists. Keeping the MAC’s line-up fresh, exciting and culturally valuable might sound like a daunting task. But newly appointed Art Center Director Steven Cummins looks forward to rising to the challenge and providing diverse artistic programming, bringing with him years of experience and a life-long love of the visual and performing arts. This year marks the 20th anniversary of the McAninch Arts Center, and with new director Steven Cummins at the helm, we can look forward to an excellent season of art in and for the community.

Ever dream of having a personal chef prepare gourmet delights in the comfort of your own home? That dream came true for Lucretia Bell-McCall who won the cooking services of not just one, but three chefs from College of DuPage’s Hospitality Administration program. The chef’s services were a prize Lucretia won at this year’s Traditions in Excellence dinner. Naturally, to take full advantage of the prize, she invited a few friends to share in the experience.

In a continuing effort to make enrolling in classes easy and trouble free for students, College of DuPage is pleased to announce several programs designed to streamline the registration process: Automatic pre-requisite checking, on-line registration, and a new and flexible payment plan.

Daily life can be hectic for many of us and it’s sometimes difficult to find the time to do the things we really want to do. College of DuPage believes that should not interfere with the ability to pursue a quality college education. COD’s Centers for Independent Learning allow students to enroll in flexible and convenient course programs outside of the traditional, scheduled classroom setting - to match any busy schedule or lifestyle. COD makes it easy to find the time for learning.

Making decisions about where to pursue your higher education is extremely important, and each year College of DuPage helps college bound students by hosting a college fair. Representatives from over two hundred colleges and universities will be on hand to meet with prospective students and distribute information about their institutions. COD is pleased to assist students in this very important first step in your college career. This year’s fair will be held on September 19th, and admission is free. College of DuPage is also a proud participant in the college fair and we invite you to check us out and see what we have to offer you.
