Abstract
This text discusses the role of astrology and the zodiac signs in various cultures, from their historical roots in ancient Mesopotamia to their spread across different societies, including Greece, China, and the Islamic world. It examines how astrology serves as a coping mechanism for some, offering a sense of control and identity. Despite its widespread appeal, the text argues that astrology is a pseudoscience with no scientific evidence to support its claims. It concludes that while astrology may provide entertainment and a sense of belonging, it does not influence our daily lives or destinies and should be viewed as a remnant of an earlier time when humans sought to understand the stars.
