Abstract
The Atlantic Puffin (Fratercula arctica) is a North Atlantic seabird known for its black-and-white plumage and bright orange bill. It breeds on coastal cliffs and islands, feeding chicks by diving for fish. Although still numerous, populations are declining due to climate change, overfishing, pollution, and predators. Conservation efforts like Audubon’s “Project Puffin” have successfully restored colonies, highlighting the importance of protecting nesting sites and food sources.
