Description

Service Learning classes combine service in the community with course content. In Honors English Composition with Dr. Lisa Higgins, student volunteerism and civic engagement was the topic, and students' individual service experiences were a primary "text." For this panel, students will share their unique service experiences, lessons learned and any advice they may have for those daring enough to try a Service Learning class in the future.

Andrew Slobidsky and Jamie Danemeyer, "The Morton Arboretum: Research and Public Interface"

Sabrina Scott, "College of DuPage Student Ambassadors"

Michael Zarbock, "Feed My Starving Children"
