This past January, eight College of DuPage students traveled to Washington, D.C. to participate in the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival. There, students and faculty attended acting workshops ranging from Shakespeare to improve to characterization and auditioning techniques. The students also had the opportunity to compete in the Irene Ryan Acting Competition. We recently got a chance to sample some of their work…

Every summer, when classrooms and hallways are a little quieter, the Youth Education Program at College of DuPage fills them with students eager to learn, make new friends and have fun!

The youth program is an extension of the Continuing Education Department, which offers students the opportunity to take classes ranging from archery to computer animation and from lego robotics to pet science … let’s take a look.
