Abstract

We’ll toss our caps in the air with the graduating class of 2009…

Graduation is a time of celebration – to honor achievement, and look forward to the future. Students, with the support of their family and friends, gathered at the annual commencement ceremony, to recognize accomplishment before continuing their travels down paths paved by learning and experience at College of DuPage. Join us in congratulating the 42nd group of students to receive well-earned degrees and certificates: the class of 2009.

… welcome COD’s technology programs to their new home…

COD’s newest building on west campus is complete. The Technology Education Center is a state-of-the-art structure that will house COD’s technology programs such as automotive, manufacturing, horticulture and many more. Images joined college officials, local representatives and special guests to unveil and dedicate this multi-functional learning facility.

… and gauge the temperature for careers in meteorology…

From the tranquility of a still, sunny day, to the violent center of a raging storm, the weather has fascinated mankind throughout time. And as long as there is weather there will be career opportunities for those dedicated to studying the science behind it. This month Images follows COD meteorology student Matthew Wojtowicz on his Road to Success, interning for the National Weather Service.
