The College of DuPage Library is pleased to announce our first Library Research and Award Symposium, to take place May 10, 2019 in SRC 2000, 9:00 am - 1:00pm. This event will highlight COD student research, such as papers, presentations, posters, objects, and theatrical and musical performances. The day will include student presentations and a keynote address given by COD Anthropology Professor Dr. Alex Bolyanatz. Lunch will be provided for all presenters and faculty sponsors.

Research Award:

There are six awards possible for each symposium projects, including:
  • First Place: $500.00.
  • Second place: $250.00
  • Third place: $100.00
  • Honorable Mention: 3 awards of $50.00 each

To be eligible for an award, a student must complete a 2-3 page essay describing their research process. For more information, please see the award rubric.

Submission process: All student work must be sponsored by a faculty member. Faculty can submit student work here.

Deadline for submissions: Friday, April 26, 2019.
