Description

The Underview Effect is an art installation that is draped in remembering. It is a place for memory to live and intermingle with modernization, and create a meeting point where they both can rest side by side. Interacting with this piece, you are surrounded by memory, by everything that has ever existed and all that still does: tree trunks, fabric, music, light, our own bodies, etc. You will come away a little different, stained by all this time. It is a cave carved above ground, a point between here and history that serves as an introduction to how we think about how we interact with time, legacy, and existing, in comparison to all that has come before, all that is here right now, and all that will come after.
