Description
When asked how he felt about his groundbreaking masterpiece, The Glass Menagerie, Tennessee Williams said he regarded it as his saddest play. The purpose of my research was to investigate Williams's life before and during his writing The Glass Menagerie to identify the autobiographical elements of the piece and establish a deeper understanding of Williams's feelings towards his work.
