The College of DuPage Library's Seventh Annual COD Library Student Research Symposium took place Monday, May 12, 2025, 6:00 pm, in the COD Library. The Symposium showcased exemplary COD student research, such as papers, posters, and presentations. The evening concluded with the Participation and Awards Ceremony.

This year's award winners:

  • First Place: Kathryn Hardy - From Feminist to Wife: Domesticity and Interiority in Jane Eyre and The Tenant of Wildfell Hall. $750.00
  • Second Place: Charlie Olszanowski The Republic of Samsung- Chaebol and their Future. $500.00
  • Third Place: Yahya Chowdhury - Insights of Intersectional Theory in the Rwandan-DRC Conflict. $250.00
  • Original Research Award: Trevor Rempert - A Prehistoric Presentation of Osteoarthritis (degenerative joint disease) in the Marine Reptile Tylosaurus. $750.00

    Honorable Mention: Three awards of $100.00 each

  • Justina Rodriguez Carrozzo - Populism, Economic Cooperation, and Human Rights in Latin America.
