Location

Start Date

Description
The purpose of the study was to see whether differences in suicidal ideation and attempts between men and women could be explained by gender differences in sense of control. Through various logistic regression models in STATA, the results supported the main hypothesis that explained suicidal thoughts and attempts through sense of control. In addition, the results also demonstrated lower amounts of suicide thoughts and attempts for men overall. (The paper is currently being revised and finalized under the guidance of Dr. Shane Sharp.)
