Description
National Public Radio White House Correspondent Ari Shapiro is the latest in a long line of respected College Lecture Series (CLS) speakers who have enlightened audiences at College of DuPage. He shared his political insights on Nov. 13, 2012, at the McAninch Arts Center.
Shapiro, who focuses on national security and legal affairs, was NPR’s Justice Department Correspondent for five years before taking on the White House assignment in 2010. He has covered some of the most significant court cases in recent history, and has investigated and broken stories related to the government’s approach to counterterrorism, detention and interrogation policies.
