Abstract

The holidays are what’s happening at College of DuPage! This month we have music to feed the spirit, decorations to delight the eyes, and holiday fare to tempt the senses!

We’ll look in at Ornamental Horticulture where they can work magic with holiday greens, ribbons, flowers and ornaments.

Then, although College of DuPage students aren’t required to be gourmet chefs in order to enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime adventure, a love of food and fondness for traveling will enhance this trip to France.

Glenbard South High School senior Josh Washington has an uncommon attitude about life in the working world. As part of a district work/study program for students with disabilities, Josh has been helping out in the COD Hospitality kitchen and bakery four days a week for the past two years. And he can't get enough of it…

With holiday celebrations looming on the horizon, you may be thinking about your holiday menu. Our own Chef Chris is going to show us how to prepare Crème of Squash soup – ooh la la!
