Before ushering in a new year of interesting activities, programs and progress, Images! glances back and recaps some highlights from 2009.

… warm up for the Mac’s inaugural Winter Jazz Fest…

90.9 FM, WDCB Public Radio and the McAninch Arts Center present another event as part of the new series WDCB Jazz at the MAC. The first winter jazz fest will be held on Friday and Saturday, January 15th and 16th. The festival will showcase five performances over two days on multiple stages. Step on out and escape the chill of winter blues with some hot jazz at the MAC.

… and cut the ribbon on a neighborhood of attainable and sustainable homes…

DuPage Habitat for Humanity, ComEd and College of DuPage teamed up to make home ownership a reality for working families while saving money and energy. Ground was broken in July at Pioneer Prairie, the charter neighborhood in Habitat’s green initiative. Now, construction on the unique collaboration is complete. Images! was there for the ceremonial ribbon cutting to celebrate the opening of this innovative community.
