Abstract
Pressure injuries remain one of the major patient safety concerns in healthcare, resulting in pain, infection, and longer hospital stays. This project addresses the significance of pressure ulcers by emphasizing risk factors, stages of the injury, and practice recommendations. Findings demonstrate the proactive nursing interventions and teamwork that are essential to preventing pressure ulcers and promoting patient safety.
