Enterovirus D68

The presentation will be centered on presenting the facts on the Enterovirus D68 that became very prominent last fall in 2014. The goal is, on the surface, to research and present the information about EVD68 to better understand the virus that took the country by surprise with its prevalence within the last year. Another goal centered on teaching other people about the facts of this disease so that they can be informed of the health problems we as a group are exposed to. Topics to be covered include: the disease characteristics, how it spreads, who it affects, who is the most susceptible, and treatment options.
