Description

Sarah Bredesen and Angelina Ayala as principal investigators

This project had students annotating the short story “St. Lucy’s Home for Girls Raised by Wolves,” by Karen Russell, as an entire Honors English 1102 class from Fall 2018. This whole-class project, though, was built of multiple smaller, connected projects. Presenters will provide an overview of the whole project (which can be accessed here: https://sites.google.com/gafe.cod.edu/shortstoryannotation/home), and then a more focused exploration of the smaller research pieces, like the "Culture Shock & Educational Immigration" project, which examines education immigration in the United States and its impact on universities as well as the workplace.

Faculty Supervisor: Dr. Jason Snart
