The topic I've chosen for my research is the DuPage Senior Citizens Council (DSCC) which is a non-profit organization designed to lend a helping hand to seniors residing within our community. We want our seniors to feel safe, comfortable, and most importantly, happy while still maintaining an independent lifestyle. The mission of this organization is to make sure that the most vulnerable individuals of our society are well taken care of, without feeling like a burden to others and still being able to enjoy the experience of senior hood. The poster that I've created elaborates how the DSCC is accomplishing their goals and why we should volunteer to further help seniors overcome their obstacles.
