Description
The presentation, once a podcast, examines how the dialectic of "tradwives" and "childless cat ladies" reflects greater us vs. them dynamics described by "Monster Theory". To begin, the presentation explores the rise of these two reductionist caricatures and their influence on political divisiveness. The presentation also addresses how the us vs. them politics these caricatures contribute to distract from real societal progress and proposes what could be done about it.
