Description

This paper examines the role that data regulations play in International Relations. State actors use data regulations as a way to increase their own power and decrease the power of competing actors. New regulations in the EU and California can serve as a guide to show which direction that hegemons will go in order to maintain or disrupt the balance of power in the international system.
