The College of DuPage Library's Fourth Annual COD Library Student Research Symposium took place Monday, May 9, 2022, 6:00 pm, in the COD Library. The Symposium showcased exemplary COD student research, such as papers, presentations, and this year for the first time, a theatrical performance. In addition to student presentations, the evening included a keynote address given by COD History Professor Dr. Ben Whisenhunt. The evening concluded with the Annual Awards Ceremony.

This year's award winners:

  • First Place: Fiona Lashmet - Origins of Les Miserables. $750.00
  • Second Place: Dennis Chuong - Pedigree Paradox. $500.00
  • Third Place: Britney Nadhammouane - The Adaptive Radiation and Convergent Evolution of Island Lizards. $250.00
  • Honorable Mention: Three awards of $100.00 each

  • Robert Moffitt - The Recent Surge of Right-Wing Extremism.
