
2023-2024 Student Research Symposium
The College of DuPage Library's Sixth Annual COD Library Student Research Symposium took place Monday, May 6, 2024, 6:00 pm, in the COD Library. The Symposium showcased exemplary COD student research, such as papers, posters, and presentations. The evening concluded with the Participation and Awards Ceremony.
This year's award winners:
- First Place: Ruju Rai; Zohaib Quadri; Ayesha Mahmood- Peer Mental Health Support in Higher Education: A Literature Review. $750.00
- Second Place: Iva Glogovac A Road to Nowhere: The UN Security Council's Response to Wars in Ukraine and Gaza. $500.00
- Third Place: Ellie Rand - The Correspondence Gallery and The Edge of Art. $250.00
- Lylia Bellal - From Archive to Artistry: Unveiling the Legacy of Spanish Colonial Textiles.
- Kendalla Puckett- The Role of Christian Nationalism in Shaping U.S. Policies.
- Kate Stuck- What Makes Art “Art”- An Examination into the Philosophies of Art from the Medieval Period to the Renaissance.
Honorable Mention: Three awards of $100.00 each
